Healthy ginseng tea

Ginseng tea is said to be one of the most healthy and nutritious herbal supplements available on the planet earth. It is much more healthier than your morning coffee while being able to provide the same energy boost without the addicting effect of caffeine.

How to make it:

Peel the ginseng root and make 5 nice thin slices out of it. 3 grams would be ideal

Then coat the slices with ginger, honey and maybe some herbs of your own choice, to add some nice flavour. Now let the slices be for 15minutes.

After that get a pot and put the slices in there, pouring them with a hot water. (preferrably not boiling water) Let your tea steep for 5 to 10 minutes. After that, scoop out the ginseng slices. You have just made your own healthy ginseng tea. It really is just as simple as this.

If you want even more simpler way to do it, you can also use ginseng root powder if you do not have the roots itself.

How to make healthy tea from root powder:

Add water to your teapot and start boiling the water just as you normally would do.

When the water starts to boil then its time to add the powder, 1.5grams of root powder would be perfect. That equals about a full teaspoon. Just mix it into the water and its ready to be served.

You can make your healthy tea out of Korean or American ginseng slices or roots. Some people prefer the Korean ones, while some people like the American one better. It all depending on your own taste. Try it both out and decide which suits you better. Korean tea has better healing features in general but in other hand American one is for example much better for menstrual pain. Out of the ginseng tea available most are Korean. It might be a little bit tricky to find American one but its not a problem if you are making it by yourself.

You might find the ginseng taste too powerful. In this case it is advised to mix your self made tea with green tea. It helps to smoothen out the taste quite a lot.

How does this help you then? Ginseng tea has basically all the same positive and healthy effects as the other forms of ginseng. And like said earlier, its a smart move to replace drinking coffee with drinking healthy Korean or American ginseng tea.

If you are not into making your own tea, there is loads and loads of prepared ones online and on markets. Some people prefer these over the self made ones simply for their better taste and the ease of use.
